The base engine will probably be the same unit which is found in the 2019 Ford Ranger. In the 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost, this powertrain is able to deliver 310 horses and 350 pound-feet of torque.
It could also use a 2.7-liter V-6 engine which powers the F-150. A diesel engine might also be one of the options but it could also receive a hybrid engine.
